What effect does a higher amp-hour (Ah) specification have on a 20V auxiliary battery?

Battery capacity is indicated in ampere-hours (Ah). If the rechargeable battery has a higher rating, it can supply the same current to the device for a longer period of time, thus ensuring a longer operating time.

Example: A battery-powered tool requires 0.2 A per hour.

Power with 1.5 Ah battery: 1.5 Ah / 0.2 A = 7.5 hours.

Power with 2.0 Ah battery: 2.0 Ah / 0.2 A = 10 hours.

Power with 4.0 Ah battery: 4.0 Ah / 0.2 A = 20 hours.

The 4.0 Ah battery ensures up to 100% longer use of the tool compared to the 2.0 Ah battery.
