Effective air purification in seven steps:

1. Contaminated indoor air is drawn in by a quiet and powerful fan.
2. Pre-filter / activated carbon filter: Larger particles are retained in the pre-filter.
3. Activated carbon filter: This filter successfully removes chemicals, gases, odors and cigarette smoke. Activated carbon filters can remove volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and chemicals better than any other filter.
4. The True HEPA filter captures 99.97% of all solid particles with a size of 0.3 µm. It is the most effective air filter that removes dust, allergens and other solid particles, including bacteria. True HEPA filters are recommended by the US Department of Homeland Security.
5. Tio2 photocatalytic filter: This filter effectively reduces chemicals, bacteria and odors. The photocatalytic filter works together with the UV lamp; they are both extremely powerful against bacteria and viruses. The photocatalytic filter is made of titanium dioxide. When this material is exposed to UV rays, hydrogen peroxide (H ₂ O ₂ ) and hydroxyl radicals (OH) are released. These substances eliminate odors (tobacco smoke), bacteria and viruses.
6. UV-C lamp. The lamp's ultraviolet rays (UV-C radiation) with a wavelength of 254 nm destroy harmful microorganisms such as microbes, viruses, molds and bacteria.
