  • Whether in the industrial sector or offices, surface temperature management for electrical appliances, motors, refrigeration systems or walls is an important issue in terms of functionality or energy efficiency. Regular temperature measurement can often prevent major damage and costly renovations. Since there is no need for touching surfaces that can be too hot or too cold, you will always be safe when measuring with the infrared thermometer - pyrometer Trotec BP17.

Infrared thermometer (pyrometer) Trotec BP17 is accurate and reliable. Its infrared sensor provides accurate measurement results from -50 °C to +380 °C. You can pre-set the temperature and monitor any deviations in individual measurements during measurement, as well as receive visual or audible signals. To ensure that you are actually measuring the actual temperature of the surface being measured and not the ambient value, the Trotec BP17 Thermometer - Pyrometer has a laser sight that shows the center of the measuring point (optical resolution 10:1). Note that the measurement location, i.e. the area where the temperature values are recorded, increases with increasing distance.

The large backlit screen guarantees excellent visibility of the measurement values even in poor lighting conditions, and the modern ergonomic design ensures comfortable and fatigue-free use. Another convenient thing is that when the device is not in use, it automatically turns off, thus reducing energy consumption. With the convenient belt case, you can comfortably carry the thermometer and always have it close at hand.

    Versatile use

A pyrometer can be used to control the heating of continuously operating electrical appliances. Since the measurement results are obtained in a few seconds, temperature measurements can also be performed on moving objects without any problems. In the field of energy saving, valuable information can also be obtained by checking the thermal insulation properties of windows, external walls and ceilings. It is also possible to monitor the temperature of the engine and tires of cars and motorcycles, check the operation of underfloor heating systems or simply measure the temperature of baby bottles or wine bottles. And with a hygrometer to determine the humidity, you can quickly find out if there are cold corners in the walls, where the risk of humidity falling below the recommended level and the formation of mold due to condensation increases.

    Signals are available

If you want to regularly check certain measured values, you can pre-select a reference temperature and set tolerance limits of 1 °C, 3 °C or 5 °C. If the measured temperature value is outside the set limit, this is reported by a color display and an acoustic signal.

Green color - the value of the permissible deviation

You specified a reference value of 25 °C and set a limit value of 1 °C. If the measured surface temperature is between 24 °C and 26 °C, i.e. within the tolerance, the display lights up in green.

    Blue when limit is exceeded

The preset reference value is 20 °C and the selected tolerance limit is +/- 3 °C. So if the measured temperature is between 17°C and 23°C, everything should be fine. However, if the measured value is below 17 °C, the display will light up blue and you will also hear a beep at long intervals.

    Red when exceeded

The set value is 30 °C and the sensitivity level is 5 °C. Thus, the measured temperature between 25 °C and 35 °C falls within the tolerance range. However, if the surface temperature of the measured material exceeds the maximum value of 35 °C, the display lights up red and an acoustic signal sounds at short intervals.

With the infrared thermometer - pyrometer Trotec BP17, you can always directly see whether the specified temperature range is being observed, and you do not have to pay attention to the exact values.
