After properly connecting the condensate pump to the unit and starting the drying process, the sump of the pump gradually fills with water. When a certain water level is reached, the pump turns on automatically and drains the water through the connected hose. The pump then switches off again until the level in the collection tray rises again.

The automatic shut-off of the dehumidifier is stopped as soon as the extracted liquid needs to be pumped out with the condensate pump.
